08 1125R knock during braking

hi ive got a 2009 xb1200ss and had more of a creaking sound from the front end under braking so i let the front fork compression right off and reset and that cured the problem hope that is of some help

So I came hit a pot hole hard on the front end 2 days ago and am hearing a knocking now when I brake. I think it is either the wheel bearing or forks as I hear the noise closer to the wheel bearings. I don't know if it's just an echo from the wheel bearings that I hear in the forks or what. Any advice? Let me know if there's any questions that might help me figure this out. The noise will only happen if I brake hard enough and it does once as the forks compress and once on the way up.

check your steering stem.... my 1125 did that as well and had it fixed under warranty... it still does it a little bit and im not sure what the cause is yet....

yeah that's what they determined it was and it was still covered as well, thanks though. I too still get a little noise here and there but nothing like what it was.
