09 1125cr clutch issues

Has anybody had issues with their clutch constantly going out on them? I changed the cover on the transmission, bled the line with a hand pump and it came back online, shifted smooth. Two days later the clutch is gone, fluid is low and I can't find evidence of leaking except fluid slightly sprays out of the new cover (small hole manufactured in it).

Any ideas how I can fix this?

I had a problem like that took it to the dealer and they told me that is was the hydrolic slave cylinder i think. they replaced it and have had no problems with it. that was on a 09 1125cr not sure what you are riding. I could not find any leaks just started to notice when i came to a stop the clutch didn't want to disengage looked at peep window and fluid was low. hope that this makes sense and hope you get it fixed.

It's called clutch weep... search it and you will find a billion threads.

Get the EBR clutch piston kit.

I feel your pain just return from deployment to find im 2 weeks out of warranty and i have a clutch weep issue. i knew i should have bought the extended before i left.

I have the same issue but mine doesn't leak much

Probably NOT the clutch weep as that is primarily an issue on '08 1125R models, and not on CR's that I know of. Check to make sure nothing is leaking from the hole in the clutch cover on the right side engine case.

im pretty sure that is what we are all talking about.

Two questions. One looking in the manual i will need the clutch release tool to install the EBR clutch piston kit correct?

Secondly has any one tried to replace the o-rings? I am thinking this may be my issue as this just happened while the bike was sitting while i was on deployment.

also the clutch release tool look like its just a 17 MM with a large nut welded on it anyone try making these?

I know that is what everyone is talking about, but he has an '09 CR which I dont think really had that issue with the clutch. I just mentioned where to look for the weep IF that was the case... can never be too sure.

Mine is the 09 CR. you can see that its running down right out of the week hole. actually i have paint missing from wiping it off where the brake fluid was sitting. your 08 had the same issues didnt it agfish?
