Lightning X1 Ignition

You mean the round key lock? If you can't source on from all the places that sell Buell parts, just buy one. Its just a keyed switch, not Buell specific.
OK, for starters 1991 was not a Lightning. That didnt happen until much later.
Are you talking about a Buell WESTWIND (made in '91) or a X1 LIGHTNING (made in 1999-2002)?
The early bikes like the Westwind did have a switch on the "dash" if you want to call it that.
Later on, the switch went to the left side of the frame, next to the "choke"/enrichener knob.
Then around 1998-1999, the ignition went back to the "dash". This would include the X1 Lightning.
Which one do you have?
If you really do have an X1, you can use an old Harley switch, but you'll likely have to cut/modify/transfer the connector.
