I’d like to get the bars on my XB9SX up about 1”. The places I’ve found online don’t have any. There’s a placed in the Netherlands that has them. Anybody know if a domestic/ US source? And yeah, I may just get new bars, but riders are just easier

Sir: follow the instructions below. i did this mod to 2 of my ulysses's in the past and one of my SX models. cheap...works great...nice evening project...rise of close to 1"....then rotate bars and adjust perches till ergonomics suit you. see pic for final fitment.

ORDER N0348.1ADYBP----ORIGINAL LIST $15.85
IT IS ULYSSES TOP HANDLEBAR CLAMP. DO NOT ORDER ADDITIONAL NAMEPLATE EMBLEM.
OR FIND GOOD USED ONE ON EBAY

CUT AND TRIM TO FIT. finished installed product appears as in pic.
you'll also need QTY 4 OF 5/16"x2" CAP BOLTS. source them locally or online.

John that is clever my man! You come up with that one?

I'm not talking to you Mike because i got PM's from both Aaron and Shaughn telling me that you hated me. so go away!
LOL

Mike: thanks my friend. i can only take partial credit. myself and a friend of mine on another old forum were both dicking around with this type of mod many years ago, using junk parts we had lying about. both came up with it about the same time and i saved a pic or 2. you take the top clamp...saw out the middle section...use remnants as riser on each side....massage the bottom of each so you have a nice flat surface...and source the longer bolts. hose and cable length sufficient and makes a nice 1" approx. rise on the cheap.
