1,200 mile road trip on a 1125R?

I am wondering if any one has taken their 1125R on a 1,200 mile +/- long road trip? I will be moving soon and I am a little apprehensive about taking a sport bike on such a long trip. I have been on long trips before on my Honda but not on the Buell, and I would like to hear the stories you all have had if any.

How many days and how many stops? I would not have an issue. I'm doing San Diego to Sturgis in August on a 9R.

I did New mexico to Seattle on my old cbr 929. Did the trip in 2 and a half days. It was uncomfortable but not impossible. I'd do it again if i had the chance.

I plan on doing the trip in 2 days. I do not have any planned stops, I will stop when I get tired I guess. I took my CBR 929 from west to east coast Japan and it took me about 12 hours round trip but we took allot of back roads. I think my Honda has a little better riding position for long trips though. My shoulders and neck hurt worse than any thing else didn't bother my butt at all but man, my shoulders screaming. [cool]
