1125 dropping AFV changes with OSB tuner. Stator? Batt? Help!

G'day,

I have an 09 1125 CR with HMF pipe and K&N filter and am running OSB tuner software and cable.

Until recently I have had not issues with it ~ 6 months.

However in the last week or so, the bike seems to keep dropping the changes made and reverting back to stock fuelling
after a little while, sometimes after the 2nd ride, sometimes after 10 minutes. which is causing the bike to obviously run quite lean and poorly.

i have trickle charged the battery overninght and reset the AFV in the morning and the problem still occured.

I just checked the battery voltage. 12.33V with ignition and key off. 12.00V with key on and ignition off.

Have you had reports of problems like this occuring?

Does it sound like it might be the battery? the stator? or a software issue?

osb tech was quite helpful. trying a couple of things.

that said it looks like my stator is on the way out... bugger

yeah my stator is definetly ******.

took for a 20 min ride. on the IC starting voltage 12.9V .... just dropped continously and finished up on 11.1V

will ring dealer for WTY in the morning.

what happens when the WTY runns out. I assume theres no develpment going on to fix this common problem?

Interesting.
I also have the OSB program. One segment of my stator died before the holidays. I haven't seem to have had any problems as you describe.

that may have just been me needing to reflash the eeprom to performance again after the batt being out for 5 months.

stator being replaced and charging system upgraded. will need to get my USB security key reflashed from the osb guys and they said they can do it remotley which is good
