So I could use some assistance. I'm currently in the process of rebuilding the forks on my 09 1125. I was disassembling them and noticed the white nylon piece to be chewed up. I apologize for the crappy pics, I'm doing this post from my phone. I can't for the life of me figure out which piece this is called in the fork schematic. #21 on the twinmotorcycle schematic which is the Fork piston slider (#J8141.02A8) maybe?

Again I apologize for the pics if they turn out rather large and distorted. If possible any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I think you are right, it should be 21 on the twin cycles diagram. 1125 forks are a bit different internally from xb's I believe. It really just centers up the top and acts as a buffer between 18 and 23

Ya the preload set up is a bit different, as far as assembly goes. They have a piece that needs taken apart that reminds me of the plastic center piece u get when u buy a pizza.

Okay good to know. When I saw it chewed up I wanted to just replace it. I'd hate to rebuild the forks and have a leak or something.

Service manual calls it the slider piston

Alright thanks a ton! I order it from my local Harley shop. (Fortunately they still deal with Buell parts) Only costed me $2.98 a piece. Fingers crossed it's what I need. U guys are awesome!
