1125 help

I'm in the process of removing my ignition cover to replace my stator and rotor and I hot a snag my cover is about 1 inch off some oil fell out the bottom but I can't get the cover off! I pulled very hard and nothing. I took all nuts and bolts off along with that oil line. Are the magnets really THAT powerful holding the ignition cover on?

Did you remove the ignition cover plug and the retaining ring behind it?

Might be some internal damage on the cover from arcing.

thanks everyone. got it all out and my stator is on its way to Ricks for a rewind. hoping to order the new EBR rotor and Crankshaft locking tool tommorrow.
