1125 Stator Cross Reference

So the HD charging system "fix' pushed my stator to 9,600 miles. Been waiting for this day I suppose. For laughs I called my local HD parts counter to see if any of them even carry them anymore. He found one, $690. Flywheel $800. VR $150. Listening to the parts tech mumble in disbelief at the cost, priceless. I'm going to rewind myself virtually verbatim with this guys write up http://hildstrom.com/projects/buellstator/index.html#loggerecmdeath except I'll probably source a different rectifier. Just curious, does anyone know of any other Rotax power plants that use the same stator?

IIRC the Aprilia RSV and Tuono had the same motor/problems

You can send it to ricks and get it professionally done with 240celius not factory 200 wire and epoxy. For if I remember right 150. Or 160 something like that.

Mine was done free at HD.... I purchased EBR oiling rotor. But not another cent outta my pocket and if it goes bad again it's on HD. No my bike had no warranty ....

no warranty and they replaced your stator? Thats odd.
