I've got an 03 xb9s and I really like the scoops and headlight. But I know that the 1125 is liquid cooled. But are the scoops hollow to allow air flow to the engine without the radiators in the scoops or would it just be too much work to be worth doing. If it doesn't allow airflow I'm guessing a lot of fiberglass work would have to be done.

you could put the scoops on your XB. come on over to my place and you can see how hard it'd be to mount them.

So once the radiator is removed so it is able to allow air into the airbox and around the engine.

The scoops are basically for the radiators only. There is a ram air scoop under the headlight for the airbox.

The inner panels could easily be modified to direct air to the Harley twin.

From the factory, they basically just have one round hole where the fan sits.
I cut a couple of extra holes in mine to help cool the "little" twin. Seems to have helped a little.
