1125gears in an xb?

The two engines are not even remotely related one bit. XB9, XB12 are based off a Harley Davidson Sportster engine with a seperate tranny, the 1125 engines are Rotax and have the tranny integrated in the engine cases like most modern bike engines.

i believe he's is talking about the pulleys ;). From what i have read the rear sprockets are 70 tooth on the 1125. I know someone posted this same question a while back but i dont think they ever got a straight answer ether. Hopefully this time someone will.

A few things to look at would be, are the bolt patterns the same? (can you put a 1125 rim on a xb with a the xb gear?) If so then you should be able to put the 1125 gear on a xb rim.

I dont know anything about the gearing coming of the engine but you would have to figure out if there the same.

Then last but not least belt length, which could be the hardest part of this whole project, since i believe a 1125 swing arm is longer than a xb's.

Wheels are the same, so Pully's should swap.

When I hear (read) "put GEARING INTO", I don't think "put PULLYS ONTO" lol.

I actually was talking about the gearing, I have a friend that was asking about it and the only answer I had was that the motors are different. I haven't had the pleasure of fiddling with an 1125 yet.
