If those fucking announcers would shut the fuck up for a min Jesus Fucking!!!!!! I could not watch that if you paid me. Those fags ruin it for me.[down]

I do have to admit they talk a lot for a televised event and they show next to nothing besides the top 5 racers

They get PAID to talk, and they are earning every dime of it

this must be ya'lls first ama race to watch, pretty much alwasy that way. im a little surprised they even mentioned the 1190 or the ktm team at all

‎11th and 10th first time out. Bike was very solid and reliable, but we waaay underestimated the difficulty of set up with the extra 25 lbs of weight strapped on. Today with all that weight and some chassis changes we made trying to compensate for it (which included running a soft rear tire), we destroyed the tire mid race, and Geoff had to slow way down. We'll try to get some more testing before Laguna.

looks like if they get enough practice and the right positioning for that added weight we could be seeing alot better races to come

Just read that my self........ someone sujested fabbing the belly pan out of stainless and placing some of the weight in there. Not sure how that would work out but sounds cool.

From the piece on the introduction of the 1190, they made it sound like it was a last minute addition having to add the block under the tail because they didn't make weight? How did they miss the weight on this? Kind of a fundamental rule, no?

pretty sure they built the bike with intentions of it being on the street hence light= better hp to weight ratio also important in racing but who knows

Good on the company and the team for the results on the 1190.

Anybody know what the required production numbers are for homologation? Of course AMA/DMG could give a shit about following rules, but I figured the hooha over the 1125 in DSB was a Harley thing.

The KTM is far from a new bike. The "race" version is just a stripped and (I assume) lightly modded RC8, and they announced that damn thing almost 10 years ago.

(Not a KTM fan, in case you couldn't tell...)
