hay wait a second, i thought Buell had the underframe exhaust patented

Just because someone patents the Swiss Army Knife, doesnt mean they cant come out with the Gerber Utility Tool... Same basic tool, minor modifications that make them unique.

Same thing goes for the exhausts..yes, they are both underslung, but their designs may be just different enough.

Was it at a dealership or yuo know somebody?

I was up at Road America in Wisconsin for a vintage race weekend.. (Kohler International Challenege) and Tony Stefanelli (EBR engineer) had a bike up there pretty sure it was #14 but that was still owned by EBR... made it a few feet down and there was another 1190rs owned by a man out of the Sheboygan area who bought it through Stocks Harley in Manitowoc. He said he was the first person in Wisconsin to own one. He is good friends with Erik and told me 25 were sent overseas to dealers over there.

And yes he was nice enough to let me sit on it..much narrower and lighter than my 1125r...

here is some pics from my iphone (yes i know my camera is terrible and there is shit all in my lens..SORRY! but wasn't expecting to see what I saw so didn't bring a camera)

Someone had money. I see a corvette and the ass of a porsche in that pic too as well as a huge race hauler in the background. Of course the guy is gonna own a $45K motorcycle. Its amazing none the less and you are a lucky man for getting your nuts wet on one. Nice find.

I don't know why anyone would buy a Half Dead in the first place! I say "F" H-D for what they did to us & Erik. I paid $14,999.99 the day the first '08 1125R hit, now its worth less than a '97 CBR900RR! I would love to be able to afford an EBR1190RS!!
