Talked with the guys at Williamsport Honda and got a quote for a 1190sx. They quoted me a price of $15998.40. That's almost $1000 under buell suggested MSRP.

They also said they were not "stocking" any but if someone wants one they will order it. Of course they are making me pay for the bike bf they order it. Depending on color it would only be a few days to get it. I guess EBR has a lot of white ones. Luckily for me that's the color i want. Hopefully i can pick it up early next week. Problem is they are 3 hours away from where i live.

I hope i can be the first one with pictures up when i get it home.

You are very lucky! Just ride it back the 3 hours, and consider it a bonding experience, and you can break it in as you would see fit. I'm curious what Buell states as the break-in procedure, and also how comfortable that seat pad can be.

Looks like i got number 19 according to the vin number.... i just have to wait for the dealer to get it there and then i go and pick it up... hopefully next week

insurance for 12 months for me through geico is..... $793

Wow that's cheap. I'm 30ish so Idk if that makes a difference. I'm also in ny state which insurance in ny state is expensive. Lol

Maybe I'll shop around abd see what deals I can find.

In my experience, Geico motorcycle insurance is ridiculously expensive compared to just about anyone else--they quoted me at over $1100/year for roadside assistance, because the only way to get roadside assistance is to pay for full coverage. I bought that bike for $500.

Try Progressive, their rates are consistently more reasonable than those of Geico.

I've had good rates through progressive and state farm. My ninja is with progressive, the xb12r is with state farm. Just depends on the bike I guess. Both are less then 500$$ a year each.

i switched from progressive to geico because geico was dramatically lower than progressive. Ill do some shopping around once things settle down. I just needed to get it insured so i could get my check from the bank....

my buell xb12scg is like 20/month through geico.

Haven't gotten it yet... The dealership had to get it from EBR, I'm thinking late this week. Hopefully i can go down Thursday, because that's the day that works best for me...

I will post pictures ASAP!!!!! Maybe get a few with his brother next to him lol

Witnessed my first RX on the road today here is Australia. A beautiful yellow one went past in opposite direction . I wish I had the window down but its too bloody cold here at the moment .[up]
