Time to take my motor to the next level. I have a 1250 kit, (pistons and cylinders) Less than 3k miles on them. Plus thunderstorm heads that are completely rebuilt with Stage 2 head work done by nrhs performance. Cnc porting, larger valves cut. This bike runs 11.7 @115mph in the quarter mile with stock cams. I'm into the heads about $900 and $700 for the 1250 kit. Make me an offer. Need to finance all the new parts going on the bike.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of horse power gain did you get with this set up? It obviously improved on the factory 1/4 mile times significantly...

I have not had it on a dyno. I would guess somewhere around 15hp gain at the rear wheel. Day and night difference from stock. Took nothing away from Street ability. Hard to keep the front tire planted is the only problem if you even consider that a problem.

God with so much controversy on this kit, you just made me want to bite the bullet! Did you tune or use ebr ecm or what?

I am using a mikuni hsr 42 carb. I have a wideband a/f ratio meter on my bike for tuning.

No controversy here, I've always been interested in these big displacement kits. Always figured if my engine catastrophically failed upon rebuild I'd throw one at it. Also ive always wanted to build a streetable but very drag race oriented BA sportster with a hopped up buell/HD 1250. slammed with a 200 back tire air shifter all the goodies :D id call it the "Dragster" but enuff of my ramblings, GLWS blaze, free bump!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you guys. It's actually just the pistons and cylinders I am letting go. I can add some pictures. The pistons are sticking out of the cylinders just enough to get the pins out. Pretty easy swap. You can email me Chevtechhd@gmail
