1250CC engine install problems

all back together, rode her for a distance of about 150km at 100km at 3000rpm to run her in. have to do this for 1000km then do a oil change before i can go above 3000rpm, this is the NHRS recommendations.

i have to say OMG what a difference, even though i only got up to 100km at 3000rpm bloody hell she pulls.

way smoother than my old engine, no low sposts at all, and the sound.... omg the sound. she purrrrrrs...

Wouldn't it be easier to get a friend to hold it? Just asking! But that would be awesome. Can you give us any feedback on the 1250 kit. So many people say its not worth it, but then they are the ones that dont have it. Then they get into specifics such as engine displacement and so on. Whats your opinion on this, and whats everything that you changed?
 
only extras i needed to buy to go with the NHRS kit was gaskets the rest is straight bolt on.

i use
- K&N air filter
- Mobile 1 M103 oil filter
- Mobile 1 V-Twin full synthetic oil.
- custom open exhaust, it has a freeflow 3.5 inch diameter baffle tube

things i have noticed.
- less vibration
- quieter down low and at idle
- quicker acceleration
- feels like way more torque
- louder, nicer exhaust sound at 4000rpm and up

in my opinion its totally worth it compared to stock replacement.

when i get some spare cash I'll get it Dyno'd and post up results. might be late November early December though.

yeah its about 15 Celsius at the moment.

my fan hardly comes on unless i push her hard.

also noticed the cooling fins on the NHRS top end are thicker than the original top end.
