Ok.. here she is.. just waiting on ecm to get back and she will be ready.. I stopped by the local sticker shop and had him make me up some stickers. The front ebr one and the erik buell raving ones on the tail.. I Also picked up some new tires from the local bike shop.. front and rear dunlop road smarts.. 200 for the rear.. only 200 bucks.. the shop ordered them for a guy that never showed up so they sold them cheap..

I like it! [up] Something tells me that the pics don't do it justice though.

PS - We have our non-slotted 1125 axle sliders on clearance for only $80 if you want to fill those holes and get some protection in the meantime.

Yea the pics done do crap.. this paint in the sun is crazy.. from a dull white to silver to blue and gold..the paint is a satin clear and has blue and gold pearl.. looks awesome.. I can't wait to ride it..

ive been contemplating getting mine sprayed in white...and this makes the decision that much easier

was there any special prep to the plastics?

Sak I don't think my phone will pic that up.. it sounds more of a race bike.. less restricted.. just imagine a drag car with full exhaust with mufflers and then without.. it changed quite a bit..

Got the ebr filler piece in the mail today and installed and mounted my plate lower down..

Been awhile since I have posted on my thread.. well a lot has happened.. few little mods. New lightweight battery and some odds and ends. In October the motor decided it didn't want to run anymore and blew a hole in the side of the case and locked up.. the warrant covered the cost of the new motor ($6595) but I was stuck with the labor charge of ($790). The bike is an 09 and the only motor they could track down ended up being directly from ebr. And its a 2010 engine so it has the sight glass on the side and doesn't use a dipstick. Feels like it has a little more power. Not sure though.. here is some updated pics from this year..

Today I decided to pull the wheels off to get ready to replace the brake pads. The rear pads are shot for sure.. They have pressure cracks on the face of them, and the fronts aren't too bad but I have ordered fronts as well... I also polished the rear pulley lip..

I also installed a lightweight MotyDesigns battery.. It is roughly 8 lbs lighter and half the size.. My boss at my part time job had the VROOM VROOM MOTHERFUCKERS sticker made for our pulling tractors we build, and I thought it fit the buell well...
