I'm not exactly sure when we gave up any sense of community responsibility in this country, but I can promise you that a homogenous society is not the path to a better future. Forcing god and country on every single American isn't going to solve the food, water, nuclear, medical, or environmental crises we are all responsible for on a daily basis.

i will say that I honestly believe the liberal mindset has caused exactly what you are describing. I am a registered independed who (mistakenly) voted for Obama the first time because he put on a good show. Liberals seem to have this fascination with allowing the government to do things for them rather than doing things for themselves because they think the government has their best interests at heart. Nothing could be further from the truth. It just amazes me that in my home state where simple things like open carry of my fire arm while riding ends up with someone calling the cops because they just saw some one with a gun. When did America become Great Britain? The America of old is gone. We have nothing but liberal hippies who think they are entitled to everything.

My religion is Liberty and that does not mean "anything goes" because some shit is against Liberty .. and some cultures don't want Liberty. When I joined the service, I swore an oath to defend the US Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic. When I got out that oath was never reversed .. its still in full effect. But I would never join the service nowadays, they send you out to kill for them in wars that rob the American people of money and jobs, then on the day you get out, they put you on the potential terrorist list and try to take your rights to own guns away, because they know you are brave enough to fight and they know that you no longer believe the lies. They know that YOU KNOW that's its your duty to stop the formation of this Police State that they are building. Its like something straight out of Star Wars right now.. DARPA is working on robots to replace human soldiers.. everything is being farmed out to mercenary groups.. its like the "Galactic Empire"..." for a safe and secure society".. hahah
