2000 blast or 2001 blast?

Hello all,
So I'm torn between two bikes. A red 2000 model with 3500 miles, Good tires and No major problems or a black 2001 model with 2900 miles, poor tires, a Carb that needs cleaning and a speedo magnet out. Both bikes currently are running. They are both about the same distance away. The 2000 is selling for $1000 and the 2001 is selling for $900. Any advice on which sounds like the better deal?

2000 for sure.For a difference of 100 bucks you get a bike that you wont be putting tyres on this season, donig the carbs, plus while you're having a BLAST you will be able to tell how fast you are going because you're speedo will work!

Thanks for the super fast response. I've heard that the 2000 model handsome advantages and disadvantages. What are sone of the major pros and cons?
