quick question is the ecm flash for a 2002 xb9r diffrent then the 03 flash?

Huge difference. Mainly they didn't make a 2002 XB. At least not in these states.[smirk]

hmmm the plate on the side of mine says 2002. is that just because its a early 03 model?

cb050 = 2002, cb060 = 2003

Ich I don't know what you're talking about.

Bolter that's just when the bike was built. Its still a 2003 model. Check your registration.

yeah that usually refers to the build date but they would call it a 2003

late "2002" bikes had a different fw installed than early "2003" bikes. eeprom, though, is almost identical.
