I am selling my 2003 Buell XB9S with almost 30,000 on the clock. I am the second owner of the bike, it has been mine since June 05 and had 4,500 miles on it then. The bike has been laid down once on the left side so it does have frame damage since their was no pucks on it then. With the pucks now on it you can't see the damage unless really knowing where to look. I will try to get good picks of that area by the puck tomorrow when the weather is better out.
The bike had new base gaskets and upper end gaskets installed over the winter along with valve seals. It has around 1,500 since this work. The front end was also rebuilt but the new seals have already started leaking on one fork. I have all new seals, bushings, and springs for the front end. These parts may or may not be installed in the next few weeks.
Here is a list of parts on the bike:
-Buell Race Kit(ECM, Filter, and Muffler)
-HID's
-Tail chop
-Crossroads flat bars
-Traction grips
-XB12 primary gear & chain(new adjuster shoe also)
-Bar end mirrors
-Michelin Pilot Road 2ct(around 4,000 miles on them)
-New drive belt
-Factory right side scoop
-New oil & intake scoops
The bike was originally silver with black plastics but was painted this winter when the engine was out of it. All the scoops are new but the plastics are the originals. The tank plastic has some scratches and scuffs on it that would be typical for a bike rode this much.
Ever since I've owned the bike it has had Amsoil 20w-50 in the engine and HD's synthetic trans/primary fluid in the primary. The bike runs and shifts great. It has the XB12 primary gear in it cause I do alot of highway riding and wanted to drop the rpms while on the highway.
I will get good pics of bike tomorrow when the weather is better outside instead of storming. The asking price is $3500 obo. The reason for selling is to get a fuel injected tuber.
Here is a few pics from a while back, it no longer has header wrap on it but does have frame pucks.
