So i bought some new levers, the ebay ones from china that i read reviews about on here. (The ones that don't need any modification) The levers wen't on pretty easy, not to hard. The original clutch lever had a lot of play in it so when i put the new one on it was the same situation. I decided to adjust the clutch like how the manual says too. I loosened the turn buckle for the clutch cable until i had a lot more play in the lever. Removed the inspection plate. Removed the lock nut and spring. Turned the adjusting screw counter clockwise until it slight drag. Then i turned it a quarter turn clockwise , and put back together. Tightened clutch cable back up. And now when i start the bike, pull the lever in, put it in first gear, when you go to release the lever it makes a bad whining sound when you let it out the littlest bit and the more you let the lever out the worst it gets. And when you let it idle in neutral for a minute and then try again , when i put it in first gear you can let the lever all the way out with no throttle and the bike will sit still and idle. You rev the bike in first gear lever released it won't move. I've tried adjusting the screw more turns counter clockwise, tighter , ad i can't even get it back to how it was before. Even put the original lever on and that didn't help. I'm stuck guys. New to the forum and buells. Please help me!!
