2003 XB9R Dies after 30 min

My Firebolt starts fine from cold, but after ride for about 30 min it starts to run rough. I was on a back road and as I came to a stop it died. Tried several times to restart, you can hear the starter working but it would only turn over a couple of times while rolling on the throttle. Once I let go of the throttle it dies. One thing I noticed was that normally when you turn on the ignition switch you can hear the fuel pump come on, but now I can't hear it. Does that mean my fuel pump is history? Any suggestions/ideas?

Kinda sounds like breakdown in coil spark to me.
