Header studs broke inside front head! Looking for a front head anyone have a good source for top end parts? New or used!

Just dropped the engine! Havnt tried yet but, I don't want to take the time drilling it out and have it happen again! Wasn't sure if was a better idea just to replace the head!?

Do a couple of searches on here there was someone awhile back that had the same issue. They make tools just for this purpose. Alot cheaper and easier than replacing a head!

Dont take this the wrong way but what makes you think it will happen again, if you get the broke stud drilled out. Or do it in the new head. Just saying?

The reason I feel it may happen again is, originally one of the front studs broke so I extracted it and put a bolt in it. A few weeks later the other stud and the bolt I had put in both broke! the studs are broken about half way in the hole and the threads are destroyed and the hole Is slightly larger now! So I'm not sure a simple
Extraction and new studs will hold!

Any thoughts?

Well I can see what your saying now. Just out of curiosity how did the first one break?

I couldn't tell ya! My best guess is, the Sebring pipe that was on it did no have a support in the front where it connects to the header! Must have been to much vibration/ movement of the exhaust assembly!
