2004 XB12R Muffler work on a 2009 XB12R ?

Should, the only problem you may run into is whether or not the 04 has the flapper valve thing in the muffler like 09's have.

I doubt the internal valve changed. Maybe slight dimension changes to the valve if anything. It would bolt up and work for sure, but tuning might not be exact. I bet Jim(tattoo72) would know for sure.
