2004 Xb12r with crack frame

Hello i have a 2004 xb12r Firebolt with a cracked frame. Which other buell frames are interchangeable?

If you get a 2006 or newer frame note the side air scoop is not functional as the hole was plugged and a screen was put on the upper airbox cover for the intake so you might need to redo your airbox cover.

how badly is it cracked. i bet you could get it tig welded. a close friend of mine used to race dirtbikes and cracked his frame when he cased a 120ft triple and had it tig welded. good as new.

a new frame will work too but you might be able to save some money if its a concern for you. i would trust a welded frame if done properly.

It has multiple cracks it was wrecked pretty hard I wouldn't trust this frame if repaired.

What about the subframe, which models will fit?

The tail sub-frame? Or the black bracket that goes around the front with the oil-cooler on it?

The front v-bracket will fit off any XB12R or xb9R because the engine bolt locations are the same. The tail sub-frame is specific to the R series, but any XB9R or xb12R tail sub-frame will work.
