My 2004 xb12r will die at idle and will stall when taking off from idle. after that, it runs well in the top end. idle is at 1100, but will suddenly dip down randomly, often causing the bike to die. It has always ridden great except for the past few weeks when this issue started.

specs:
2004 xb12r 27k miles
race ecu
buell race muffler
kn air filter w/ open airbox mod
breather reroute

What I have done to try to fix it:
tps reset
new spark plugs
new intake seals
new battery
checked grounds
oil change
another tps reset
load stock race ecu maps
another tps reset

no trouble codes, timing looks good. Like I said, it has always run great until just recently. I am suspecting it is either my ecu going bad ("cracked"?), or my tps. Seeing as these are big ticket items these days, I dont wanna just go buy them without having a decent idea of whats causing it. Is there an easy way to troubleshoot the TPS to check for faults? My ecm looks fine, no visible "cracking" or anything. Does anyone else have any additional insight? I have about had it this time and am about to give up on her :(

thanks guys.. I will try to get a video up of it tomorrow.

Temperature sensor, biased or slow oxygen sensor, short in the harness. Im assuming you are using ECMspy. There is a lot more info there to help diagnose your issue.
AFV (air fuel value) what is it? Temperatures, do they seem plausible? TPS value/ %? Cant just throw parts at it based on what others have done to fix it.

I would clean the IAC too, i used brake/contact cleaner when my bike did the same thing and it was full of black sh1te and it cured the problem! so may be worth you trying that before you look too deep into other stuff?

it's a 2004 tony so no IAC unit.
with jacob on this. these motors shake like hell at idle. it will probably sit there all day at 1600rpm and never skip a beat. does it immediately re-start after stalling? when it stalls does the CEL immediately illuminate or delay? often times an immediate CEL light is related to a sensor or ecm on the way out. it is tedious but i'd very closely inspect all harnesses, plugs, wiring connectors. something is either chafed or loose and the shaking at idle might very well be interrupting a circuit. costs nothing but tedious work.
