well it is 7 years old and has only 3K miles so it should be in good shape other than cobwebs. LOL Regardless of miles. If it has the original battery I suggest replacing that asap. Keep a good amount of gas in the tank and just ride it easy until you become used to it. Running these bikes out of gas is by far one of the worst things you can do for any pressurized fuel injested vehicle. Change the Fluids asap as well.
If you do buy it please please please do NOT use a torque wrench to remove and replace your fluid drain plugs. Do it by feel. The manuals have bad specs on torque and honestly if you need a torque wrench to change the oil you probably shouldn't own a bike. We have tons of threads where someone over torqued the fluid drain plugs and stripped everything out.
