Good find. Willing to bet its been dropped a few times. May be able to haggle them down even. Looks like it hasn't been taken care of very well...

I think they just want to get out from under it. I bet they gave the guy $1200-1500 trade in value. You could probably get into this cheap.

^^^^ good catch paul. plus the bike is garbage. this is the 4th time i've seen it posted up on evilbay. that alone tells you all you need to know about this alleged "excellent buy".

Yep, seen that posted a few times when I was looking. The fact that it is so dirty in the pictures is another sign of how well it was taken care of.

That bike could be looked at like an old classic car found in someone's back yard....she looks a tad rough, but a little TLC, gone over top to bottom, front to rear by someone that knows what to look for...she could become a gem. Guys buy cars, trucks, motorcycles in worse shape and more money than the asking price and fees...so what's the difference here? If I had the means, she'd be in my garage.

Step back, she's a Buell and needs to be placed back on the road, proper and true.

$2100 9s in NC. I'm out of play money & space.
I've got a 04/07 12s & 09 12r for sale in md.

Honestly these things are all over if you look. You just have to beat everyone to it. I don't agree with posting links to every find. 1/2 the time, like this, it's not even a good deal at the end of the day.

True a little tlc and could be a great bike. But for a couple hundred more you could get one that the paint isn't faded, bolts aren't rusted... I know I bought a bike many think was too sketchy, so I wouldn't judge someone buying this. Good cheap way to get into a great bike.

That is why I said in the area. You would have to look at it. It does need some TLC but for 2k or less that us expected. It is evident that they know nothing about Buells. I did miss the $599 doc fee. That's rediculous and makes it not a good deal. Sorry to waste space and time on the forum for this.

It has subframe spacers, headlight grill, aftermarket mirrors and grips, turn signals....most of which if it were stock would be changed by the new owner. Three rusted screws on the on the clutch cover, minor issue, 24k for an '06 9sx for 2k plus $600 in docs...$2600 bucks and that's not a bad deal. I was offered $2500 for my '03 9s with 68k+ as is, 3yrs older and about triple the mileage.

[confused] over the comments...also missed it has aftermarket rear brake lever and shift lever

so everyone knows, his bottom line is $2300 out the door. Not horrible i guess if your local. im 10 hours away so plus shipping to me is too much money....

Hey guys, I figured I'd share my story on this bike. I bougth it and I wish I wouldn't have. Im here to tell the facts so far about this purchase and I can prove everything with paperwork that I'm telling.

So I live 700 miles away from the seller ( classic chrysler Jeep in Goldsboro NC) I read the listing like everyone else and it sounded to good to be true, even the emails I received with questions I had about the bike sounded good.
So, i bought it, Had it shipped and I received it. Take it off the trailer and the motor knocks like crazy. I contact them and they play dumb. I took it to a local H\D dealer that services buells. They laughed at the knocking. I have video if anyone wants to see it. So the short story this its been 2 weeks now and they still (seller) haven't/wont pay for repairs.
I haven't put one mile on the bike, its been in the shop since the day i received it. The problem is the rotor was comming off and hitting the stator. Needless to say $600 repair. It doesnt have a aftermarket exhaust as the listing says either. Ebay hasnt been any help either. Its under the $1000 limit they have. So right now Im stuck with a $2500 bike that dont run.
If anyone wants to see the quote for repairs or hear the knock let me know. If anyone does business with this place beware. They act like they care till they get their money. Hopefully this helps someone from making the same mistake as I did and really checkout what your buying from ebay.

That does suck. Even though the "aren't a bike shop", the dealer damn well knew what they were doing.[mad]

You have choices. Either take it in the pooper and fix it yourself, we can help you diagnose and fix it cheap here, this forum rocks[up]

Or stand up and fight!!!

You have options to fight e-bay harder (I'm sure there's more than just the rotor wrong with it), Fight the dealer harder (small claims), Fight PayPal harder (how'd you pay for it?), there's lot's of protections for the buyer if you choose to use them. This is 'Murica!

How did you pay? With a credit card? If so call your credit card company a d tell them what happened.

Pretty sure you could find the parts you need on here cheap a d do the repairs yourself or find someone in your area to help?

That really sucks but if I was you I would fix it myself. You can download a manual from here and fix it then you will have a piece of mind that it was done right . There are a lot of members on here that can give insight so don't be afraid to ask questions.
