hoopsrxt, check the wausau craigslist. there has been a bike just like yours for sale in merril for what seems like a year and a half.

Well guys just like my original post states, for sale again. The wife says no, gotta live with the wife so whatever makes her happy. I have a 2006 XB12Ss, 6,6XX miles, same color as above(no jardin, OEM muffler), also have black panels for it. To sweeten the deal including a jacket and helmet. Also have a new-in-box Buell voltage regulator. Gotta get $4,700 to cover what I have in it for just the bike.

Rode around the block and test drive, have ridden in the same model in the past, ya I know what I'm missing. It just proves that its true, things can change overnight.

Sorry to hear that. I'd like to get a third Buell but I think my wife disagrees. Everytime I bring it up see walks away mumbling something . Good luck man!

Hello, I'm Moshaholic's girlfriend and we were just reading and commenting about your posts...
and i have a couple of thoughts i would like to share from a "girls" pont of view.

KEEP THE BIKE!...seriously. Unless it was a purchase that put you in the poor house, there is no need to sell it.

If you need to sleep in the couch for a couple of nights for her to get over it, do it.

And trust me, we do get over it.

You have the right to have your own things, and if this is what you want, then thats that. It is healthy to have your own hobbies and there for your own things.

This will always be the cause for argument because it is not always "whats mine is your"...

Maybe it does help us that we both like bikes, but if he decided to get something i didnt like, i would prob just deal with the fact that HE does.

Anyways....whatever your decision is, good luck.

Moshaholic's girlfriend-Wasn't a purchase that put me in the poor house but it did dig in the savings a bit. Owning another motorcycle was an addition to other expesive hobbies that I have such as owning a competion ski boat. Only so much time in one day so gotta choose wisely.

Dude give up the boat and keep the Buell. Boats are dangerous motorcycles are much safer ! On a boat your almost naked and get sun burned all over, on a bike only your neck gets burned . Just something to consider.
