Trying to sale my buell. It's got about 6000 miles on it and is pretty much stock. Got a few seats and plastics for it. New tires front and back.

So I'm about to trade this bad boy in on a wr250r and I've finally got the salesman to give me 3400 trade, so if someone is looking for a good deal on a bike that looks new I'm open to offers. I paid 5500 for the bike, replaced a couple of sensors, and put new tires on it. It's a good bike, but I miss the dirt so I've got to get something else.

Wish I could just add another bike, but I can't. I've got quite a few toys, hobbies. At this point I need to downsize, and for what I do, I think a dual sport will be a better fit. Also I will take some photos and get them up here first chance I get. You could send me an email and I could send you some also.

Everyone what this means is; you beat $3400 & you get one of the best XB models made...
That's a steal. Also a wr250? You are nuts... Think a buell is hard to sell...
Also your going to be tired of that in 48hrs.
My opinion... Keep the buell, buy a cheap SM on c list or something...

UMP. You could be right about how hard it is to sell, but the dual sport class is slim. I live in East Tennessee at the foot of a mountain full of trails and am kicking myself for not getting something I can enjoy that land with. I ride my bike 2 miles to work and back and that's about it on the road. This buell needs someone to ride it and I just don't enjoy road riding. So I'm trying to get something to ride to work, also do some trails, and drag behind my jeep when we go camping. Also I want something new. Crf250l, wr250r, or drz400. But leaning towards the wr just because some dealerships around here are selling new ones for 5999. Crf for 5000, drz for 6500.
