Hey guys,

I love my Lightning Long, but its time to sell.... I don't want to but unfortunately I must... I'm having a really hard time. I don't want to lose money and I know what these awesome dudes are worth. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where I can sell this bad boy. It's like no one knows what they are. I have it outside the house, on facebook, on craigslist and on some local papers. Just wondering if anyone here is interested in this gem...

With a low production niche bike like these, you're pretty much restricted to these specialty forums or someone who see's it randomly (not searching) and gets a dose of the ol' Buell sickness.

The forums are good. Here, and BadWeb has a great classified too. You won't get more than it's worth. If fact you'll probably get slightly under but you will be (probably) dealing with an educated, informed audience. Cough, not craigslist, cough...

Values are what they are. Buells especially have a pretty narrow band for re-sale. Considerations like how fast you need to sell it, where you are, year (Thunderstorm?), frame dents, quality mods, new consumables like tires or battery, mileage, recent service...

Post up lots of pics and you'll get an honest answer from people here:up:

BTW They share lots of parts but an STT is not a Lightning Long
