For Sale: 25th Anniversary Edition 1200cc American made sport bike. About 4500 miles. Tires have about 250 miles on them. This bike is in perfect shape, not a scratch. I bought it new and road it a little each year enjoying every minute of it. My hobbies changed so she needs to find a new home. This bike is extremely agile and powerful. Massive torque from the large engine allows you to cruise down curvy roads without having to shift constantly trying to keep it in the power band. Typically 3rd gear will do anything you want. Fully adjustable race suspension (factory). Front and rear suspension has preload adjustment as well as shock adjustment. Front forks are double adjustable (bound and rebound) and rear is single adjustable. Six piston caliper and perimeter mounted disc on front tire, single piston caliper on standard disc on rear provides outstanding stopping power up front and excellent feel for the rear brake (single pistons allows you to feel the braking without locking up the rear tire and crashing the bike). Belt drive is completely maintenance free, reliable and quiet. Same belt as the 900lb Harley Davidsons use, but on a 425lb bike. Riders have seen these belts go 50k plus miles before showing wear (article about Buell motorcycles in Cycle Rider a couple years ago). Please feel free to ask any questions.

The back seat cover, original wind screen and rear pegs are included with sale, just not pictured.

Price is $5500 or best offer. I will accept cash, cashiers check or a credit card. I do not accept PayPal,sorry. This is right where the average price is on these bikes with typical mileage and wear for the year. This bike is well under the average mileage listed and in a shape you have to see to appreciate.

There is absolutely NO RIDES. Sorry, too many horror stories of bikes found wrecked in intersections. She starts and rides perfectly and was serviced by Harley at 3k miles.

You can email, or text or call. My cell is 805 seven two zero two one one one (Verizon won't give me a local number unless I cancel my plan and start over, I like my data plan the way it is)

Don't you just love people who join a forum for free advertising just to sell a bike and then don't even put their ad in the correct forum.

I guess I didn't see where to post a for sale. I saw another for sale in this section so that's where I posted it.

Arikam:Color is white with blue accents. Located in Carson City,NV

Lawdog, where should I have put it? You wouldn't use a target audience for what you are trying to sell?, Really? I didn't realize this forum was for discussion only, figured it was all things Buell related.

LunaticFringe, technically yes it could, but only if you like carbon on your pecker.

wifarmboy: I copy/pasted my other ad where I was trying to explain to people what this bike is/capable of who may not know. I still get people asking me what this bike is and why does the front brake "look different" at gas stations, even by other riders.

I think there is a culmination fo factors here.
1. You posted in the tech section not the for sale section. Its not really that big of a deal. I am not sure we are your target audience considering we all already own one! LOL. But I see what you mean. Problem is we all have indepth knowledge, know what the bikes are worth, and you won't get top dollar as you would with someone off the street.

2. Your first post is you selling your bike. At least introduce yourself! LOL. There is no details. What color is it. Where are you located. Is it a love of the machine or who cares I want cash. Somebody who loves the bike takes great care of it. Somebody who doesn't may have had the oil changed once.

3. Your post reads like a magazine ad. We all know what these bikes are capable of. We all have indepth knowledge of them. We want to know what mods you have done, upgrades, customizations, aftermarket, oil changes, etc.

4. No pictures. Pics are worth a thousand words! If you have a sweet bike show it off so we can all admire it!

Good luck with the sale but give us details not a magazine ad. Show us pictures, tell us everything you did to the bike. Otherwise you won't get much interest on here and we will heckle you.

If you’re considering a trade for Lunatics wife's vagina I would ask for pics first! ;) You know. You wouldn't buy a bike unseen right. Ask for a test ride too. Definitely a test ride! LOL

Wow thats one sexy bike! Wait there is not picture, sorry just left the EBR site I seem to have burn in on my eyes! And they say plasma's have problems. O **** I have to go my smiley face is having a stroke [smirk]

I swapped the windscreen for the taller touring style and unbolted the rear pegs as the wife doesn't like the back seat anyway. Everything else is factory.

After recently moving to Carson City I have seen a lot of bike accidents up here, a lot of them car vs bike head on with fatalities. Not a good situation when starting a family so I am selling all the street bikes, not just the Buell. I would rather it find a good home with someone new rather then sit and rot in the garage with me riding it maybe once a year for a poker run or something. Riding it daily just isn't a viable option around here, not a safe one anyway.

Tires are Pirelli Angels. In the 4463 miles this is my third set of tires.

Oil changes every 6 months, with as little as I rode it the oil got old before it went too many miles. I used the Harley oil per the manual.

Fuel was always Chevron Super. I never used octane boosters as I have found they are total BS with the circle track car.
