Hi All

I have an XB12SS and absolutely love it. The only problem I have is i'm 6ft5" and feel a bit cramped on it when I ride long distances. I've seen after market foot pegs which are 1" lower that the stock pegs, but I was wondering what rear suspension mods could be done to lift the rear up to increase the ride height.

Thanks

If I'm not wrong, changing the rear suspension won't change the distance between your seat and your pegs. The only thing I see that could maybe change a bit is sub frame spacers to raise the tail.

I believe he wants to raise the bike up with the suspension so that when he adds on the 1" lower pegs, they will physically have the same ground clearance as the stock pegs at stock ride height.

As far as suspension, I'm thinking a Ulysses rear shock. I don't know the exact specs on it's length so it may not work at all, but I do know it has about an extra inch of travel so I'm thinking it would raise the ride height some. It's not going to be as stiff, so you will probably want to find a stiffer spring or you may get away with maxing out the preload, etc...
