2008 xb12r ecmspy error

i down loaded ecm spy have the cable works with the bike can watch the "bike run" on the screen but cannot pull up fuel map from ecm or reset codes or tps just get an error message any help would be appreciated

The 08+ bikes are not compatible with ECMSpy... you have to use ECMRead to fetch the maps and tunerpro to mess with them. If you go on the "Do-It yourself" section of the forums there are multiple write ups on it. I dabble a bit in the stuff but i am no means an expert... but i am trying to learn.
