nada doesn't mean shit bra--------company is OB-SOO-LETE........incase you haven't heard......good if youre buying BAD if youre selling, but best of luck to ya:)

GOduc, my brother has an 09 1125 CR he might be looking to unload!
you interested in a CR?
Where are you from? I'm in CT

Lando

Ya I'm in Texas. I hate the cr's but if the price is right my dad is looking for one

yeah, i guess kbb is wrong also.

Im not saying kbb or nada is wrong------its just stupid to use that to try to estimate the value of YOUR bike. i would use the market @ the present time, and let it dictate the value of your bike and what its more than likely going to sell for. Look around and you will see there is VIRTUALLY NO MARKET WHATSOEVER FOR buells. Youre more than likely going to sell it to a fellow bueller who wants to move from a bolt to something faster, or a bueller who wants another one in the garage, and because (hopefully) they're an educated bueller they're going to know---------your 1125 is worth only 5000 or so

or you may get lucky and sell it to some squid who doesn't have a clue, that does happen, poor squid though.....if you ask me

for example I bought my bike (the bolt in the pics) @ yamaha suzuki of texas, a fairly reputable dealership here in dfw. The first time i went to the dealership and he let my take it out on the road it was marked @ $5500, i said ill give 4 out the door, he wouldn't move on the price whatsoever. IT SAT FOR THREE MONTHS before i went back and asked him again, 4 out the door, now he says "done deal". because it sat, and sat, and sat, and sat, at a yamaha dealership's used lot for that long while everyone was buying yamaha, i WANTED a buell because i knew about them, knew they're obsolete, and knew that bike was going to sit for a LONGASS TIME before anyone else picked it up. And that salesmen also knew it was time to move that bike off the lot, and that I, the lone wolf, who actually was interested in a buell instead of something japenese, WAS ONE OF ONLY A VERY VERY FEW IN THE DFW AREA. so if i sell a bike im using the market around me @ the present time.............not kbb or nada

Pretty sure that KBB and NADA draws from current market values.

Secondly, although they did do a fire sale on buells, and they did sell them dirt cheap; I think most people have noticed a increase in demand for these bikes over the past 6-8 months or so and their values are increasing.

5500 or even 6 is a fair price, and in my opinion a hell of a deal.

just my two pennies.

5500 or even 6 is a fair price, and in my opinion a hell of a deal.

the people i know on 1125's paid roughly 5000, and one guy even let his cr go for 4500 in pristine condition. a bueller will more than likely look around and pass on the 6000 deal and keep looking knowing he can get the same bike for 5000

also why, when an 1125 showed up on the lot @ yamaha of texas two months later, i went back and said lets trade on this and i take the 1125, he laughed in my face and said "the only reason we have this 1125 is becuase it was a bank repo that we got for $2500 (it was marked at $5300), we're not taking any more buells for trade, knowing all they're going to do is sit." and even if, on that day, you looked at kbb and nada it would still say the same stuff. not a good reflection of the present market

still my opinion

^ thats the beauty of it, everyone has their own opinion. ;)

atleast as far as I have seen these bikes have accrued some value back over the past few months. I talked to mastertek on the phone about the bike today and it seems that this bike has been babied pretty good.

I guess why I think its a good deal is because its an unmolested, low mileage bike. Sooner or later these low mileage 1125s wont be around anymore.
No disrespect GOduc, i guess we just have different opinions. ;)

you wanna hear something really crazy? Dubois Harley Davidson, in Dubios Pa has an 1125r in their basement collecting dust, it belonged to the owners son, 8xx miles.. i called them today.. he wants over 9 grand for it! haha I laughed at him and said, you have any idea what you just said.. he stuck to his guns..
PLEASE GOOGLE THEM AND give them a call, and ask about the bike, he will tell you 9+ hahaha

agreed---------haha low miles are a plus, and something unmolested. i dont' want a bike thats already modded, i want to do the modding myself.

i think the buells WILL EVENTUALLY START TO GO UP in value, but not atleast, until erik buell releases a few more bikes, that way people will see them and say "o dang thats the same guy that built the buells" ill get me one of those, then everyone wants one then you could ask for slightly more $$$

it will happen, and erik is working to make it happen, he could have ducked his tail, cut his losses and ran, but instead he's going to bounce back, and he'll sell all 100 of those 1190's-----in a damn quick hurry too-----the guy is resiliant thats for sure
