Hey Guys, My 1125 is starting to hesitate and backfire up the intake pretty aggressively. I put fresh fuel, spark plugs, air filter, and other basic spring tune up stuff. It has the FMF Apex exhaust and EBR ecm in it. Any thoughts?

I would check the fuel injectors. I guess they will cause a miss fire without throwing a code.

I was thinking about the TPS being an issue. I'm going to try a TPS reset and if that doesn't work i'll look into the fuel injectors

Do you know how to do the tips reset? I do mine once every ride. TPS reset take a total of 15 seconds.

Looks like a TPS reset took care of most of the issue. I'm running a clean tank to gas through it to clean it out, but after the TPS reset it came back to life for the most part. It seems like it might not be holding the TPS learn in the ECM though, because it seems like I have to reset it almost every time I start the bike. I have the EBR race ecm with FMF exhaust in it. Anyone ever have that problem before? I'm wondering if my ECM hasn't crapped out.

I'm wondering if you idle air hose in the airbox is rubbing on the throttle linkage. Try pulling it up a bit and see if that helps.

I just got a 1125 last week and it has the FMF exhaust and Race ECM too and my bike hesitates bad but when I put stock ECM back in it revs and runs fine. Did you ever figure out the issue?
