2009 Buell Lightning

I am selling my 2009 Buell Lightning XB12Scg. Looking for more of a cruising bike, instead of this street fighter. Ill post a couple of pictures, but feel free to email me for some more. The bike has around 1900 miles on it and it still has more than a year left on the manufacturers warranty that is completely transferable from seller to buyer. List is $10,295 for a brand new one before delivery/freight and sales tax, which would bring a new one to around $11,500+.

Considering dealers are selling new ones of the showroom floor for less than $7000 now, $8000 is going to be tough to get.

I got a offer from a dealer for 6800 for a 09 brand new, good luck... not saying it is not worth the asking,,,but you know,,,,I LOVE the SCG

yea you got screwed with these liquidation prices from the dealers. if i were you id wait till spring when it will be a hot item. most/all of them should be sold out by then and people will want them. every dealer i talk to says they are selling 2-3 buells a day. ive called several and they all seem to be in the 6500 range, thats what they tell me on the phone, not even any haggling.

Yeah, I was obviously trying to sell before Buell was canned, but now that they have been, I think Ill keep the buell. Its a great bike and ill see how I feel about it in the spring. It's getting cold and there will only be a few riding days left this year anyways. Thanks for advice though.

i really want your bike, dude. no, seriously. i have been looking for a hero blue 12scg, and your bike is one i had on the options list. even with all the liquidation prices, i thought your price was very fair, and very good. i just am not in position to take advantage and it sucks!

if i still don't have one, and you decide you want to sell it in the spring, i will give that horse a caring stable! if i was you, i would keep it though. the xb is legendary . . . .

we can see whats up in the spring. i broke my leg in a soccer game about 2 months ago and haven't been able to ride at all. I thought I would off-load it for some cash now and get something else later, but looks like I will be keeping it around for the winter. Ill be back on something (maybe the buell) in the spring.
