Hey guys, I'm 90% sure i'm gonna sell my 2009 Buell Firebolt soon so I can put some money down on a new bike. Im the original owner, bought it brand new at the dealer, it has 12,xxx miles on it. I installed the Drummer SS pipe last year and have wrap on the headers. I have taken off all the plastic bits and passenger pegs and what not, but still have all original parts. After the original P zeros wore out went with Q2's (4 sets) and the ones on there now have about 500 miles on them. The bike is spotless. I loved my Buell and it kills me to sell but i'm looking at a cruiser now that i'm getting older (28). Plus i moved from Buffalo NY to Philadelphia PA and now have no friends on sport bikes to cruise with and a 7 hr ride on the Firebolt to get back isn't that much fun.
ANYWAYS..
My question is what can i sell for? KBB says private retail $6,250.00 and i know accessories don't add value, you just lose out on them. the pros are the bike is an american sport bike, its getting rarer every year and its in perfect condition. Trade in value stinks ($4,200.00) so i would rather sell private.
Any comments would be cool, let me know what you think..
