2009 uly xb 12xt just died on me

i was ridn to work today and my uly just died as i was entering the freeway. i checked the fuses and the fuel pump fuse was blown. replaced it with spare and off to work. the ? is why did it blow? any problems with these fuel pumps. any info would be appreciated.

did you do any work on her lately? I'd check the wiring harness for any kinks or rubbing shorting yada yada just go over make sure nothing isnt doing what it shouldnt be doing lol

2009's have alot of bad fuel pumps. Bring it back to the dealer and they will replace it.

I took it to the shop and they couldnt find anything wrong. i put a 15amp fuse and no problems so far.

doesn't matter, bring it back. We're on our third fuel pump

Just for the record, I have just shy of 60k km on my 08 XB12T and the fuel pump has never been an issue for me (touch wood).
