1001: it flows a bit more than the jardine. dunno about the others though. if youre looking for a starting point for ECM tuning....i would go with something like a drummer style tune. even the race tune is fine.
 
thunderstorm, the new 2010 preprogrammed ECMs just came out on the website, but only for the Jardine exhaust system.

gbalias, All the Remus does is basically try to zero out the Fuel/air mixture. If the ecm sends a message and its a little bit rich or lean then the remus will just fine tune it a bit more. Thats what my buell mechanic told me. They used to use a similar system on their Harleys.
 
Phazernut how do you like the Hawk/K&N combo on the 12ss?

I have only got a few miles on it with both on there. I had the HAwk for a while and really like it. I only got about 20 miles on it with both. So far it seems to pull even harder than with the stock filter. I am considering getting the EBR ECM but still haven't decided. I'll be back home on Saturday so I'm hoping to get a bit more time on it.
 
hi ! i just installed the race ebr ecm for jardine exhaust on my 2010 XB12 ! first 4-5 rides was very good but now its run like shit lots of back fire on decel, loss of power...today i reset the tps, take ride for 30 min run good but tonight the same problem appear ! Need help ?
 
I just installed the ebr ecm for 08-09 xb12 with jardine exhaust and a K&N air filter. It runs awesome, no more popping, good reponse and it runs smooth. the only thing is the fan is on the whole time the bike is moving and shuts off as soon as it goes into nuetral. it does not turn on when the bike is shut off. Is this normal does anyone know yet?
 
You have the new program for the fan. My 09 12Ss does the same thing with the stock ecm and the latest upgrade
 
Anyone know if the EBR ecm still has the off-idle "hic-up". I hate stalling when i want to show off with a quick snap of the throttle from idle. It sounds sooo sweeet when you blip the throttle and catch like 2 power stokes at WOT!! That is if it doesn't pop out the intake instead....
 
NewfieBoy,how did your bike run with just the pipe and the remus powerizer? I was looking at them last winter,but could not find out much about them or anyone using one.Not trying to thread jack, but if you are not doing anything Saturday,a bunch of us are meeting in Port Stanley for a ride.
 
Im now interested in the powerizer w/ my EBR ECU. If it really gets rid of decel poping.
 
my 09xb12ss was popping on decel with the jardine exhaust. then i did the ebr ecm for the use with the jardine and i have no more popping. love the ecm better throttle response.
 
Ordered my Race ECM and it is being delivered next week. Where does the ECM go? is it right underneath the seat by the battery? Just unplug the old one, plug the new one, reset the TPS and go?
 
I have a powerizer + power commander + race ECM + ram air + a turbo and nos. My friend on his 250 ninja is still faster in turns... wth am I doing wrong?

My '09 with just the Jardine is awesome as is to me, but I'd consider the EBR ECU if the a/f ratio is indeed improved... is there real dyno data on it or are we just basing everything on ppl's butt dynos?
 
yes ur ecm is under ur seat. alls i had to do was plug it in and do the tps reset and i have been riding it ever since.
 
Anybody got one o the earlier EBR tuned ones? 2004-7?

I've a 2004 XB12R with breather re-route + free spirits big oval.

Been running the race map for a while now but want it better! Been datalogging but still got lumps all over the fuel map, mainly want to get rid of the stuttering mid throttle.
 
no love from EBR for us 2009 XB9 guys...bummer. Guess the 12 guys are more important.
 
yeah i just emailed them to see if i could get in on the sweetness for my '10 xb9sx, ive got my fingers crossed!
