I'm excited about becoming a buell owner!!! I have a 2010 xb12scg on hold until I get back later this month from deployment. Haven't finalized the deal yet. Wondering how much other owners have paid for theirs in California? My OTD price is $12,141. Is that a decent price for xb12scg's here in Cali? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.[confused]

Well, if you're happy then that's all that matters.

So, take this with a grain of salt. I thought there were $3000 rebates on the XBs. So, I'd think a reasonable price would've been $10299 (MSRP) minus $3000 would be a $7299 starting point. So, add TTL and you should be around $8k or so.

I'm glad your excited about getting a new Buell. They are awesome bikes, but concider this. Right now today you could walk into Big Sky Harley Davidson in Great Falls Montana and get a 09 XB12Ss or a 09 XB9SX or a 09 XB12R for $6999.00 each or a 09 1125CR for $6495.00!!! You could also walk into High Desert Harley in Boise Idaho and get a 09 1125CR for $7495.00 or a 10 XB12R for $7995.00!! So what does that tell you about your deal for $12141.00?

Triple, you may be right, but those bikes would be useless to a California noob. I don't think you just add the CA emissions stuff and register the bike there, can you?
In any case, I don't recall hearing of the same great deals in CA as in other states when the feeding frenzy started.

Noob-that seems high to me,granted they're all pretty much gone, but you should have still got the 3000$ rebate-presale price.
I just got my girl an 09 scg for 8 otd with a few miles on it.

All these other deals were hearing about are for non-Cali bikes,so I doubt there are any 2010 scg for 8k out here ...
so ultimately be stoked you're nthe proud owner of a great bike!
I would mention to the dealer they should be receiving the rebate&passing that discount on to you-they're full of shite if they try to say they all ready did-I beleive you paid full price.

Thanks to all for the advice!!! This will help me negotiate the final OTD price. Bolt, is there a link to find the $3000 rebate???

There should be,I can't find it right now-help me out guys!

Just so you know, most dealers I was calling the last few weeks mentioned it over the phone(so when she quoted me8600 for an 09 cr otd it sounded really cheep!)
Check out the Buell web site, allso there may be a link in another thread since this topic has been discussed alot lately.
Good luck mate, let us know how it turns out.
Be safe

i would back out of that deal so fast your head would spin. you can buy bikes damn cheap right now and that price is a brutal ass raping. cocksuckers ought to be ashamed of themselves.

For anyone in the NY/PA/OH area... the place i got my bike, Western Reserve HD (Mentor OH), still has a bunch of bikes left including 08 1125R for $6495 "will negotiate" lots of XBs too.. wrhd.com just a heads up...

Nice! It seems going out of state or buying used would be my best option if I were in the posish to buy another Buell.(oh please honey..just one more..)[smirk]

Noob-if you haven't bought it yet,you should work that dealer over ,even for Cali-it's too much!
Where in Cali is this? I want to know who to avoid.

noob,
I hope you found a better deal, I just saw an 12Scg on a website SC dealer for 8 grand. I own a one and mine is a 2009, so unfortunately I missed the great prices but it is a kick ass bike I would hate to see you buy a different model

I got my 09 XB12scg 37 miles on the odometer OTD $8.5k here in CA when there were only like 6 left in the whole state.

Finally I have a dealership that has my price. Picking up the bike tomorrow. WOOHOO!!! $9000 OTD. Can't beat that here in Cali. :D
