Read the online today.

The SuperLow’s quarter-mile run of 14.42 seconds at 91.11 mph is three-tenths quicker and 5 mph faster than what the Iron 883 pulled off. The 0-60-mph time is fourth-tenths quicker at 6.1 seconds. It can’t hurt that this bike spun the dyno 5 horses harder than our last 883 Sportster, to the tune of 49.9 hp.

That's barely more than my wife's GS500 has. I can't even imagine trying to ride that thing pulling an extra 100-200lbs everywhere I went.

to be fair its an 883, you cant compare it to your xb12
thats like comparing a 600 and a 1000 inline bike

but a little more fare is to a xb9, mine turned 90hp not that long ago
so its still a [down][down][down] to HD

For my first bike, I had the choice between the Sportster and the Blast. As a 16 year old guess which I chose?

the Blast... I never liked the look of the sportster much

I saw the new 48 Sporty "live" for the first time yesterday. Really liked it (but would definitely swap the forward controls...). It had the mufflers changed, and sounded quite mean (not super loud, though). The guy riding it said the 1200 gives it quite a bit oomph. And it must be something, because it was said by a person who usually rides Suzukis...

hahaha... well if you like that, then check the promo video on the HD website. look closely at about the 1min 04 mark. you will see a group of them riding by and the dude on the outside black one is blowing blue smoke!
