220mph Itallian Buell!!

So there I was, walking out of wallmart to see some people smoking cigs standing around my 1125R. I walked up to my bike and was immediately asked, "Wow thats a nice bike what kind is it?" I replied "Like the air cover says, its a Buell." "Nice... Itallian," one of them replied. "what year ?" another one asks. "08" I said, still reeling from the Itallian remark, "It was a holdover from the dealer." "Wow, how fast is it?" They continued. I replied, "Its fast enough but it really was made for cornering." Then the first guy steps forward and said. " My friend has one of those and he has had it up to 220! At that moment the needle on my (DIP-STICK-OMETER) redlined and I simply stated , "Well I gotta go, nice talking to ya.) Sometimes guys, its just better to walk away.

yesterday, I walked out of Home Depot and found a little old lady standing there staring at BamBam

"pretty nice looking bike eh?" (remember I am Canadian)
She replys "yes, what make is it?"
"Buell" pointing to large letters

her husband comes out and she sez "have you ever seen a motorcycle like this before?"
"no" he replys...
his wife wife pipes up "its a Buell"
he sez "sounds like a german name"...
I say "the man who made these bikes is named Erik Buell and this bike is one of 9,632 of this model..."
(I restrain myself from breaking out in a rant aboot H-D)

they smile and walk away...
