40 degree ride last night

Its rained here for almost two weeks straight and I've been crazy busy with school. Yesterday around Five I went outside for a smoke and realized the roads were actually dry. So i decided to go for a ride. When i first started her she idled for about 30 seconds then stalled but started right back up no problem.I let her warm up for about twenty minutes then jumped on and took off. At first when i gave anything over half throttle it bogged down real bad but after a few minutes that went away and boi did she love the cold. She ran better than she ever had actually scared me a bit once when, i went to pass someone and the front wheel tried to come up when i hit third . The 2cts did great even though it was cold and the roads were a bit damp I was still able to scrub the tires to about only a quarter inch from the side. I was very impressed with the bikes performance in the cold. Maybe I'll get one more ride in this fall but then shes goin away

I know what ya mean man. My bike absolutely loves it when its a bit chilly out. Sucks for me because im cold but soo much fun to be had!

Glad it's running well for you. I rode my bike to work everyday last winter - a whopping two miles Never missed a beat! I never did push it hard though since I knew the tires would never ever warm up - FTL!

Yea it was way too much fun! My hands were the only part that really got uncomfortably cold but a few seconds by the header seemed to fix that pretty well.
Sirius: My tires didn't slide once one me and i was pushing it relatively hard through some great corners. I just made sure to warm the tires up good when i first got on the road.
