Got my short tail to convert my uly to an SS tail. Thought it was a direct bolt on. Actually the Uly tail mounts over the side rails while the short tail mounts inside the rails. Does everyone just tap the holes to accept an M6 or 1/4-20 bolt? The other holes are both through. Thinking of drilling and tapping the rail 5/16-18 and bolting from the inside. Just curious what people have done. Thanks in advance.
