6 speed tranny?

anybody on here running one? whats the advantage? do you gain RPM in 6th or just closer ratio all over?

I personally havn't seen any 6-speed conversions and I believe the reason is the Engine only puts out 103 HP at the crank compared to 4 cylinders with half the cc's and about 20% more horse power.

I have a 12R and hitting high speeds it takes a while to get up there after 100 MPH to 145. This is due to the HP to weight ratio. Now Throwing a sixth gear in there would allow a higher MPH but at you'd need a runway to reach it. But if your willing to sacrifice some Torque to get some extra speed there are sprocket available. yeah, id like to get a 6th gear too, not for top speed reasons, but for closer gears and better acceleration, so if you find one let me know

yes i found some but they are about $3000.000 id rather spend money on more hp.

I'd like to see a basic stock XB12 do 145 mph. They just won't and can't. The sixth gear thing will do nothing but give you a over drive gear. I've ridden a tuber with one.
