99 x1 cam selection

gotta tear into my 99 x1 race stripe and am looking to upgrade the cams while in there... read on another forum that a good (and cheaper) option is to replace with xb12 cams. has anyone heard of this or know the specs on stock xb12 cams? thanks!

The cam specs. can be found on nightrider.click the cam selection page.The screaming eagle bolt in cams for 04 and later sportsters have the same specs. as x1 cams,there not indexed the same but they are the same profile cams.I dont know what heads your x1 came with ,but if its the lightning heads,with stock valves,you will benefit more from a cam like andrews n8,or earlier se bolt ins as the over lap and duration will be more benefit than the higher lift and shorter duration of the x1 cams.
