9S to 12S Belt Guards

Can 12s belt guards be used on a 9s? I like the look of no belt guards, but the bottom one is actually useful. The 12s one appears to be a half guard, while the 9s is a full length one. Can they be swapped?

orion, i did a little searching and honstly i don't know if they can be swapped. i know that they changed swingarms in,i think,'05 or'06. maybe someone w/ same year bike will chime in.[confused]

Good question.
I'm pretty sure the swing arms are the same between the 9s and 12s, so the guards would be the same. I know they changed to bigger guards in 06 or 07, so they are mounted differently. Ss, TT and X guards def will not fit.

yes they fit, just make sure you have a pre '06 build
