Just got my Wheels and Pulley back from the Powder Coater. [up]

They actually use a chemical stripper to remove the existing paint. Then lightly bead blast it to rough up the surface on the areas that are going to be powder coated. Then coat and bake...

These guys I use are awsome, They do all of the Alston Chassis for Drag, Sprint, etc... cars. It's unbelievable what these guys put in there oven, an how it looks afterwards. I think someone did all of the parts for an entire car once.

Nice bike. Going for something like yours, except I'll have a silver frame for now... Was thinking of powder coating my frame white next winter. It would be a different twist with the black motor.

Damn I love the White! I was born in Waukegan and am in Gurnee all the time! that's nice to know a place so close does this kind of work. I should have them coat my black plastics white Any idea on what they charge for a set of plastics to be coated?
